Veteran Trees in Earley

The Earley Environmental Group are at the moment drawing up project plans to record the location of as many Veteran Trees in the Earley district as is possible. This data will eventually be submitted for inclusion on the Wokingham District Veteran Tree Project.   It is hoped to start this project within the next few weeks, and if you are interested in taking part in the survey, please contact one of the EEG's tree recorders using the online form here or download a PDF form to send by mail.  We need your help to protect our precious trees and their heritage. No experience is necessary as training will be provided:  the knowledge required is easily acquired, and the field work is not onerous.  It could even be fun.

Even if you can’t join the surveying group, perhaps you know of a particularly interesting  tree in  Earley, which may be old, have wildlife, historic or aesthetic value, and we should be pleased to hear from you.
