EASI

(Earley Adopt-a-Street Initiative)

YOUR STREET NEEDS YOU!

Does litter annoy you, especially if it's around your road?

Well, EASI is a group of over 300 Earley residents who have volunteered to litter-pick their own roads, or a nearby road or path, for everyone's benefit (we've found that a clean street deters litter-droppers as well).

Would you like to join us by litter picking your street (or a part of it) and perhaps a cul-de-sac or a path too - whatever seems manageable to you? If you are interested in helping, please get in touch.

By going out whenever it suits you, perhaps for half an hour a week, you can help us win the battle against litter in a way our council can't possibly achieve. What they do instead is support us by supplying litter-pickers, hi-viz vests, gloves, and special bags for the litter, which you can put out for collection (or put in your blue bags).

You can contact us on EASI’s Email address or visit the EASI Facebook Page ‘EASI Litter Pickers – Earley’ to say you'll have a go.

You will be volunteering for a worthwhile task - and one that can be very satisfying!

EASI was formed by the late Peter Soul in 2010 as a joint project between Maiden Erlegh Residents' Association (MERA) and Earley Environmental Group (EEG). In 2022, EASI was formally affiliated to EEG.
