Great Crested Newt Survey Licence Training Course 2006

Once again the Berkshire Reptile and Amphibian Group (BRAG) are running their GCN Licence Training course at Dinton Pastures.

As always booking is essential  , and this year please note we have differential charging for volunteers and professionals. The course is run at cost by BRAG volunteers and all profits will be ploughed back into herp conservation in Berkshire, so we rely on your honesty as to whether you are a volunteer or professional newter.

The aim of the course is to enable those that attend to make an application for a licence to survey for Great Crested Newts. The course will involve a short lecture on the ecology of the great crested newt followed by a practical session setting and checking bottle traps.

Tutor : Mat Smith
