Petition against vegetation removal at Swallows Meadow

EEG Member, Andrew Mickleburgh, is seeking your support for his petition against the removal of vegetation from the important green open space known as Swallows Meadow, located between Bassett Close and Lower Earley Way in Wokingham Borough.
This land is part of an important green corridor which has been identified by the EEG as an important Local Green Space and there is cross-party resistance to this work.
There is concern that the recent activity on this land may be in preparation for some form of housing or related development, which should be robustly opposed.
