The University of Reading is proposing to refurbish its architecturally unique 1970's URS Building. The remodelled and extended building will provide a future home for the School of Architecture alongside the School of Construction Management and Engineering, and the School of Arts and Communication Design.

The refurbishment will require the diversion of a section of the Public Right of Way (PRoW). This currently runs underneath the upper floor overhang of the building, an area that we are proposing to infill to allow the building to be extended.

There are 3 options for this diversion with Option 1 being the University's preference.
