Aldryngton School's Favourite Bird

Pupils and staff voted at Aldryngton School for their favourite bird, mirroring a national vote led by the Urban Birder, David Linton. Eco-nature club members generated an Aldryngton shortlist and worked in pairs to prepare a whole school presentation during which they tried to persuade people to vote for their bird.

The votes were quickly counted and the following result announced.

The robin was also the winner at national level. Well done and thank you to the Eco-nature club members for working so hard on their presentations. They have found out a great deal about their respective birds.
